I am a viola player, studied in my hometown of Nuremberg and later in London, and then played for four years at the Opera House in Lisbon as principal viola.

I have been living in Prague for over 20 years. I play in various Prague orchestras, including the Prague Chamber Philharmonic and also in the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. My orchestra tours have taken me all over the world.
In addition to classical music, my musical attention is particularly focused on the works of contemporary composers.

With my group Ramonika I dedicate myself to interactive children’s concerts. But my special love is the string quartet. Since 2015 I play viola in the Cassiopeia Quartet.

The Czech chamber music is rich in wonderful works, some more and some less well-known, to which I can give an expert and entertaining introduction before we play them to our audience.
